In order to ensure that your first visit goes as smoothly as possible,
please follow the simple guidelines below.
Please bring all medications, insurance card(s) and valid ID.
Reimbursement for Office Visits for Surgical Procedures
Payment is due at time services are rendered.
This includes co-payments, coinsurances and fees for services provided by our office which have either been applied to your deductible or not covered under your insurance plan.
Any services rendered that are denied by the insurance company become responsibility of the PATIENT.
Participation in Insurance Programs
We participate in most insurance plans including Medicare and Medicaid. We will perform an insurance, eligibility and benefits verification upon your arrival. Due to the numerous plans that each insurance carrier may provide, we cannot check, know your benefits or give estimate of financial responsibility until we have your individual card in hand.

In Case of an Emergency
We provide 24-hour
emergency coverage.
Dr. La Russa can be reached after hours by calling 1-229-924-6011. The answering service will put you in contact with the doctor.
Appointments
Patients are seen by appointment. Your appointment time has been reserved just for you! In the event that you cannot keep your appointment, we kindly ask that you give our office a 24 hour notice or as soon as the need to reschedule is recognized. We reserve the right to charge a $25 no show fee for appointments not cancelled or rescheduled by the patient.
It is our policy that the only persons who can make or change a patient's appointment are: the patient, referring physician, medical facility, long term care facility, patients' healthcare power of attorney or person/s with whom the patient trusts and has given verbal or written permission that is documented in patients chart.
Although every effort is made to see patients' at their scheduled appointment times, an occasional podiatric emergency may arise that could result in a minimally increased wait time.
